eSkwela Close Out Activity Luzon1

eSkwela delegates of learners, LFs, CMs, Coordinators, project team and partners posed with CICT Administration led by Secretary Ivan John E. Uy, Chairman.

Though no one dared to express an emotion during eSkwela’s Close Out Activity Luzon 1 on February 7-10, 2011 in Subic Bay Traveller’s Hotel in SBMA, delegates, particularly the local implementers’ majority plea to extend assistance to eSkwela implied a unity of “sense of loss”. Though implementers were assured with utmost support by Dr. Carolina S. Guerrero, Director DepEd-BALS  and comforted by Secretary Ivan John E. Uy, Chairman, CICT most were not content of  having only one “parent”.

Since eSkwela is a project, it had a completion. The time has come that the accomplished project of CICT needs to be turned over to its partner-BALS, hence the Close-out Activity.

Circumstance like this can be taken in positive viewpoint. It is an occassion to express gratitude to CICT for partnering with BALS to build a technical facility that proves not only benefitial to out-of-school youth and adults (OSYAs) but efficient as well in implementing alternative learning.

CICT had been very supportive and really took care of implementers like a baby. They did not exit like a surrogate. Inspiring insights were shared by the lecture of Dr. Emmanuel C. Lallana of Ideacorp on “Why eSkwela is the future of Philippine Education”, an equipping last word to a newly weaned child.

ESkwela Naujan Center staff could not keep themselves from looking back to the project while under implementation and witnessed the labors of eSkwela Project Team led by Maria Melizza D. Tan. ESkwela Naujan has no other means of highest esteem on the Project Team’s labors than to implement eSkwela in the Municipality of Naujan to the fullest extent in the soonest future.
